An Afternoon of Amazing Women...and Men!

The Health Talk -- Amazing Women -- drew a capacity crowd to Kolej KDU last Sunday (23rd May). Obviously, the majority were women but they were a cluster of men present who were solely there because they were attracted by the topic of the health talk! These were definitely amazing men in their own right.
Those present would agree that they had learned a lot from Dr Jong (picture below), whose speech was studded with valuable information and graced with humour.

I met Dr SJ Jong at a health talk a year ago. She was speaking about bones and related illnesses. I enjoyed the talk thoroughly as Dr Jong spoke in terms that laymen could understand. Since then, I got to know her better. I've even brought friends to meet her to discuss their problems with her. She is truly someone who is friendly, helpful and humble.

Frontier distributors met our big gun gurus from Frontier for a training and support session in Subang Jaya on April 22. Distributor June Chan’s apartment at Goodyear Court 9 was the venue for the meet.

Flying into the home of the hornbills

Sarawak, the home of the hornbills is one place that Frontier has already penetrated with its range of products but the miles between the peninsular and this rainforest region makes it important for us to regularly touch base if only to keep up to date with what’s happening on our side. Hence it wasn’t surprising to find Dr Jong, her Italian counterpart Dr Massimiliano Conti and Andrew opting to fly out there recently to have a much needed one-on-one series of talks on all the changes that’s taking place at Frontier International. This little ant went along as well, more so to meet up with her new downlines Lungan Wan and her ‘kakis’ while doubling up as a photographer for the VVIP folks from Frontier.

People behind the scene...

Emang Jabu, the prime mover of Frontier International and one of its two Kuching-based stockists, did a great job of preparing for the official visit with her team efficiently handling everything smoothly from the booking of the hotel to the registration of the existing Frontier members and newbies, down to the videographer cum cameraman that was hired to record the entire event.

A good turn-out...

The room was packed with people who were really keen to learn more about Frontier’s newest health offerings and its inherent benefits Re-Code, Fisioline by Dr Max Conti while paying very close attention to Dr Jong’s talk on “Maximising your Nutritional Absorbtion”. Fisioline’s crackle technology experiment was a crackling good way to demonstrate how effectively a coin sized “swish” of Fisioline on the back of the hand could seep into the skin at crackling speed thereby ensuring the speedy and penetrative delivery of all its healthful properties deep into the epidermis.
Slimming ace...
His presentation of the distinct differences between traditional weight reduction formulae versus Frontier’s revolutionary Re-Code had many listeners rushing to purchase a bottle or two for themselves especially since it came at a very attractive introductory price. Even newcomer Lungan moaned about not having brought enough cash to buy her 1st bottle but was heartened to know that the offer price was for a week at least. When Dr Jong shared her expertise on nutritional absorbtion and gave sound medical advice, it was made even more clearer to the listeners that one must pay attention to what one takes in terms of nutritional supplements. For instance, some Hormone Replacement Therapies (HRT) tout themselves as being ‘natural’ but taking something made from horse-urine is not exactly the kind of ‘organic’ therapy one would like to ..er… swallow right?
Taking flight...
Anyway we rounded off our visit to Sarawak with a trip to the Springs Mall (new kid on the shopping block) where Emang has her shop appropriately called “The Health Circle” filled with Frontier products and various health related products for sale. It was there that Dr Max and Dr Jong were interviewed at length by Sarawak reporter and single mother Doreena Aeg and who was convinced enough by that interview to become a part of our group Frontierfrenzz. So together with Lungan, her relatives and friends we now have a little offshoot in the land of the hornbills. Let’s wish them the best and may they chart as colourful a life as the cute little bird, the hornbill!

Getting the inside knowledge on Frontier

Saturday saw a day-long health talk organised by Frontier International for its members, both old and new ones, and members of the public to get better acquainted with its range of newer products.
Discount galore
Those who attended enjoyed a hefty discount on selected items. The members especially enjoyed up to 35% + 5% discount!!
Enlightening session
For the brave and committed souls that made the effort to turn up for the event, it was truly enlightening as the two main speakers Frontier founder Dr SJ Jong and handsome looking Dr Max took to the stage at different turns to share their knowledge about the technology that went into the making of Frontier products.
Aloe vera health benefits
Dr Max for instance talked at length about his research efforts pertaining to the aloe vera based products, showing slides of how big the aloe vera plant was (Malaysian aloe vera plants seem puny in comparison), how to cut the plant itself and which parts of the plant is extremely beneficial to humans. Contrary to common belief, not all parts of the aloe vera plant is okay to eat and the scientific way in which the plant is harvested, sliced and its healthful properties extracted makes for fascinating listening indeed.
Re-Code therapy
As for Re-Code, Max highlighted the fact that most first-time users of Recode will be impatient to see immediate results of weight loss in the form of increasing weight reduction when standing on a weighing scale. This is an erroneous way of measuring weight loss because the body itself is made up of water, muscle and bones. The more accurate and realistic way in the initial period is to see whether one is able to fit into formerly tight fitting clothes, if this can be accomplished then the weight loss is achieved. , Once you start shedding the pounds (after 3 bottles or more) it will be more obvious so ditch the weighing machine!
Cleansing effect
Furthermore, he mentioned that certain ingredients were added specifically to deal with the issue of expelling the bad items from one’s body because to many, unless they see something being purged or cleansed from the body then the weight reduction therapy is not working well or fast enough for them.
Incidentally, Dr Jong herself was on ReCode to help bring down her hefty size. Today though it’s hard to imagine her being hefty and she is a clear example of the power of Re-Code to decode and recode our svelte selves!
Nutritional needs
Dr Jong then shared in simple terms the importance of nutritional supplements and gave some pretty good and practical advice on why we need to take supplements.
She pointed out that while it is great to take fruits and vegetables for their health and medicinal values, the snag is that we do not know how to take the exact amount or calculate the exact dosage needed to ensure we have absorbed an adequate daily supply. Nutritional supplements such as the ones produced by Frontier are made exactly to the nutritional needs of one’s body thereby removing the need for guesswork on our part.
Space talk
National astronaut Dr Sheikh Muszaphar was on hand to give a fascinating talk on how tough the challenge was to be the billion dollar ringgit person to fly into space. He showed us slides of food hanging in mid-air, how he bathed, slept and drank water while circling the milky way way up high. The upshot is that life on earth is a lot less complicated and more wholesome, made especially better by the inclusion of Frontier’s nutritional supplements!! This is one... er... Frontier we don’t have to pay billions to enjoy a breakthrough.
Of course, some of our Frontierfrenzz - June, daughter Julia, Adrian and Manyants - grabbed the opportunity to have their photographs taken with the Frontier bigwigs - including Dr Max, Dr Jong and Dato’ Sheikh Muszaphar (See pix above).

First step.. getting the team together

A quiet but significant start...
Frontierfrenzz got off to a quiet start with the initial gathering of single parents and those poor folks who want to try and make that extra income that is badly needed. So there we were – Adrian, our colleague and single dad, Sue, a single mum and our full-time worker, Tara, a single mum, with Tiara her friend, Fazila, who is struggling to sell cakes and food to feed her 4 kids, and single mum Doris.

All of us gathered at June Chan's apartment, where we made ourselves comfortable, to hear what Frontier is all about and how we can start little home businesses of our own. The eager beavers were given a brief slide presentation by Jumble Station co-founder Mary Anne Tan on why Jumble Station has decided to pursue this route to assist single parents in need.

The key factor is that many folks out there, including those that are advancing in age as well as the youth, are becoming more conscious of the need to protect their health. Frontier International focuses on helping people live longer and healthier lives with products that are internationally recognized yet affordabe for the Malaysian market.

A brilliant doctor at the helm...
Its founder, Dr SJ Jong, is a true-blue anak Malaysia from East Malaysia who went overseas at a very young age. At the age of 15, she entered the University of Glasgow on a British Government scholarship. At the age of 22, she obtained her first PhD in Food Technology. She followed that with another doctorate in Complementary Medicine. In 2005, she pursued her third doctorate in Neuro science, working on research in degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Prior to her return to Malaysia, Dr Jong was a scientist at Rigil Laboratory in Switzerland.

Achieving new frontiers...
Upon her return to Malaysia, Dr Jong started Frontier International. Her motto is:

''Frontiers of science must not only be conquered but must be shared for the benefit of Mankind."

Lydia, a distributor to emulate ...
We were honoured to have Lydia, Frontier's top distributor, to share her experieces at our meeting. Her success story is definitely a great inspiration to all of us. After her motivating talk, we are all of the same mind: "If Lydia can, we can also!"

Businesss talk with Andrew ...

Andrew, Frontier’s Business Development Manager, then shared a little on how to build a steady income flow via recruitment of new distributors and the company’s marketing and compensation plan. The figures and percentages were a little too complicated and went over the heads of most of the single parents but the conforting thing was that they could leave the calculation of monies to the company and just concentrate on building their network.

A good ending...
The two hour meeting ended on a high note for some like Adrian and Fazila who felt challenged enough to want to get started.

... and a great beginning!!!
For Jumble Station, we like the idea of helping single parents to start a business where they can have a steady flow of income. If you join out network under one of our single parents, what you purchase from Frontier will definitely benefit our single parents. This way our single parents can learn as they earn because when their downlines buy something for their own health, the financial health of the single parent who is their upline will also be boosted! Kudos for the single parents and Jumble Station/PWP supporters who are willing to try, spread the word out… Now!

Not so good news...

I'm indeed saddened by the news that the niece of one of our fellow Frontier distributors is in a coma in the ICU of a local hospital... She is only 21 years old. How I wish it isn't so. Dear God, please be with her. Be with her family, too.

News like this can even move a stranger to tears. What more the patient's family? Now, I understand why Dr Jong has set up Frontier International... Incidentally, she has explained the factors and circumstances that have led her into her present profession in a documentary entitled "A Mission in Compassion." Like most folks, I used to stay far, far away from the MLM business because I was afraid of being forced to buy things I didn’t really need. Other times, I’d give in and buy one or two items just to help a friend meet the quota for the month. Needless to say, both reasons did not endear me to the MLM business at all.

This time around something changed. This time I was led into giving MLM a chance because I was searching desperately for some kind of activity that would help my poor single parents earn the extra cash they need without them having to leave the job they have or wrestle with two or more jobs.

Seeking new frontiers...
Frontier International’s MLM business offers an attractive solution to this dilemma. It is an established company with a wide range of health and beauty products that are clinically tested.

The road ahead...

Can this be done?
For sure! However, the road ahead won’t be easy. In fact when I first broached the subject to a close friend of mine, I got two earfuls about the foolishness of taking this route.. about how poor single parents themselves can’t afford to buy and try the products and how then will they be able to be ambassadors for Frontier International? And being poor how will they have access to the middle class and rich folks who will be the main buyers of any MLM products?

Yes! Yes! Yes!
The first, the one about affordability is easily handled, if some of the early pioneers of Frontierfrenzz agree to donate our share of bonus payment vouchers to the single parents it will enable them to exchange these for the products and try them out themselves. Once they have tried and obtained the desired results, they will be the more vocal ambassadors for Frontier International.

We also ask if Frontierfrenzz uplines and downlines agree to donate a portion of their earnings to Jumble Station, that will be a real blessing indeed for poor single parents who cannot join us in this effort due to illness or distance.

Angkasa range...
The Angkasa range has been specially created for the Malay market. As we all know, the bumi market is a lucrative market for the MLM players so targeting the key dynamos in this ethnic group will be a key to future growth and success.

The second issue of access will also be easily remedied – PWP/Jumble Station will be at malls, fund-raising events and organisations where we can get the chance to highlight their plight. We have already started last Sunday when we took part in the MPSJ Charity CNY celebration at MPSJ organised by SJ Echo and Hannah Yeoh (see pix).

There, we were able to share with many fellow Subangnites about the role of Jumble Station and how Frontierfrenzz aims to get people to buy nutritional supplements to help with their health while in the process helping poor single parents to earn a passive yet growing income.

Every name counts...
Each time someone signs on to be a Frontier member, they will be put under a single parent so that the single parent will get to enjoy the bonus being paid. The harder the single parents works towards getting people to buy and use Frontier products, the better the chances of generating new and growing income. Single parents in need are already at rock bottom most times so the only way forward is up!

The long and winding road...
The road ahead may be long but with a determination born of passion to make life better for others, how can we fail? If others were able to make it in MLM and with products that are much more expensive, why can’t we scale new heights then with Frontier International?

Welcome to the Frontierfrenzz blog created specially for all our new and upcoming friends who have graciously and compassionately agreed to chart new frontiers by using and actively promoting Frontier International's products.

Working hand in hand...

Frontierfrenzz is a happy collaboration between Parents Without Partners Bhd, an NGO that focuses on assisting single parents in need and distributors June Chan & Mary Anne Tan's downlines at Frontier International. June and Mary Anne are both ex-journalists. They both subscribe to the fact that Frontier International's healthy mission of "Bringing the Frontiers of Science to every corner of the earth" is a worthwhile effort while Frontier International's founder Dr SJ Jong's belief that the rich and poor alike deserve top-notch health care at affordable prices is the right route to take.

Meeting Needs ...

PWP and its social entrepreneurship arm was established in 2007 by three woman of great faith - Lim Lian See a single mum, Sanice Kam a businesswoman and Mary Anne Tan.

Beyond meeting the basic need for food, clothing and other daily necessities, we believe it is also time to teach single parents to fish.

Fishing...
But how does one teach another to fish?

By trial and error and in this case, via multi-level marketing with Frontier International.
